Ruyokomi

Hello guys! : ) I don't know what to really put here... Um... I grew up in a small town with barely anything around, and I have loved drawing ever since I used to watch my brother draw comic book characters. Before I loved anime I was absolutely infatuated with Japanese culture. I found out about anime and manga through researching Japanese culture. Although I did watch shows like Hamtaro, YuYu Hakusho, Magical DoReMi I didn't really recognize that they were different from our cartoons. I think I finally started realizing the difference whenever my dad and I started watching Toonami religiously every week. Fell in love Naruto and discovered the internet! Young Kakashi was my first ever sketch!

I started drawing 24/7 and that's how I got started! I'm still trying to make a lot of progress, but I never had any good art classes, and I'm not a very good teacher to myself. My first art class was in 7th grade and I learned more about paintings there! It was so fun using acrylic. I started giving it my all and received the "Artist of the Year" award in my school which helped motivate me to pursue painting also! Since then I've been drawing and even though I don't have a lot of time to do that now. I still find myself improving!

This past year was my last year of high school and I took a vo-tech class. I learned how to use Photoshop that year and even became certified in CS6. I also learned how to do animation, 3D modeling, and video editing! So now those are also on my list of things I want to do as a career in my life.
